Guest
Hi everyone, over the last half term I have been concerened with how many of the children in reception continue to write in capital letters and that their parents continue to encourage them at home to do this. Also there are parents who get hung up about how many words their children can read and ignore their comprehension when helping them to read. Any ideas all help gratefully received. Merry Christmas
Guest
The Basic Skills agency has some good publications for parent guidance on learning at home, maths and literacy and basically having fun. Try this link for starters; Just a few of their many publications peggy
Guest
You could also take a look at the leaflets produced by the British Association of Early Childhood Education here If you right click on the leaflet you're interested in you can save it to your pc. Guest
Oops, slightly mis-led you. You need to double click on the leaflet and then right click on the title in the text of the next window (hope that makes sense, but it does work!)
