Nursery Deputy Manager

Kangaroo Pouch Ltd is looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Manager for our West Bromwich setting. If you would like to work for a company that is growing with excellent opportunities and benefits then this could be the job for you!

 

Do you have strong experience in a Deputy role and can step up into the Managers role where needed and have recent experience of doing this in your current role, and have maintained or achieved high standards with experience of leading a team and being part of a team.

 

Kangaroo Pouch Ltd is a private Day Nursery offering full day care for children aged from birth to 5 years of age, between the hours of 7.30am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday.

 

You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:

· Ability to demonstrate excellent staff management skills

. GCSE A-C in English and Math’s

· An excellent understanding of child development and EYFS

· Flexibility and good time management is key to this role

· Strong interpersonal skills and initiative

· Childcare Qualifications Essential Level 4

You must have experience with dealing with external agencies and have a firm understanding and experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Welfare Requirements and how these are put into practice.

 

This Deputy Nursery Manager position will also require you to be able demonstrate the following:-

• Excellent leadership and organisational skills

•Experience of working to and delivering EYFS

•The ability to deliver high standards of care and education

•Imagination and enthusiasm

•Knowledge of health and safety legislation

You will support the Nursery Manager in suitably equipping the Nursery to provide a high quality, practical and welcoming learning environment.

You will need to be focused, proactive and confident, committed to high standards of care and in promoting a warm and supportive environment.

 

You must enjoy being a hands on team leader.
