Yes, we use it as a school, so that each year group sets aside 2 weeks a term to focus on a story. We use a system developed in Luton called 'Sign 4 Story' to support the story structure and use of connectives.

Our school population is almost entirely composed of children - and quite a high proportion of staff too - who have EAL, and it has helped our work on grammar as well as story language.
