I actually quite enjoy it (maybe shouldn't admit that!) but sometimes am a bit unsure of how to speak to parents about the children that are slightly below expectation. Those that are significantly below seem to be easier as parents are usually aware. Many of our children that are below are summer birthdays so are only just below. What do you say?
