Please help!!

Our school has display boards around the school - fairly large - one per class that we do class displays on each term linked to a theme

We need to change the boards at the beginning of December and they will stay up till feb - hence lots of lovely ideas like Christmas Carols, Pantomime, Christmas around the World etc can't be done!!

We need a theme for the boards and can't think of anything!! Recently we have done...Winter Sportsánd Winter Around the World! Any ideas would be greatly recieved!!

Thanks!

Hi there!

How about a story book theme for each display board, based on the winter theme, eg One Snowy Night, Winter Bear ... sorry can't think of any more winter books but there must be loads .. isn't there one about Kipper in the snow .. Elmer in the snow????

I've done a signs of winter in the past - cars need headlights on, frost on the trees, some animals hibernate, frost on the windows etc.

How about a winter clothes display - very simple just paint pictures of appropriate clothing - could involve maths if you did scarves with repeating pattern stripes etc.

We've just done a theme week on The Arctic and made an Arctic animals display.

I do like the idea of tying it in with a book though.
