Jarred baby food

Hi, our health and safety policy states that we cannot provide children with bottles or food/jars that have been prepared at home or opened, because we dont know how long they have been open and can not ensure our guidelines are followed. We dont provide or accept jarred food because parents pay for food in their fee's so if their child doesnt eat or doesnt like the food we provide for all the children, we provide alternative fresh food that is made on sight.

We have one parent that only gave their child Ella's kitchen pouches, and struggled that we wouldnt offer these to her child, but once speaking to them about healthy nurtrious food and the benefit of having freshly cooked and prepared food on sight, they soon understood.

Hope this is helpful?
