Wonderstuff16
We would like to introduce an IPAD at playgroup for the children to use with supervision and selected educational apps. Am I right in thinking we should should send out a permission letter to parents before we start to use. We will add to our ICT policy and our permissions on our registration forms. Many thanks! Guest
I didn't, I treat it the same as any other educational piece of equipment be it an ipad, a hand saw, a grater etc and ensure it has been vigorously risk assessed
lynned55
No more than you would require permission for anything else, I would think. Why do you think you need permission for a tablet?
Guest
We didn't seek special permission. If they are on educational apps or fun apps I don't see the problem x
woodlands1997
We don't, it's no different to anything else in my eyes unless you're going to be letting them loose on YouTube :-)
angela41
I must say we didn't either. It just comes under ICT and parents were happy with that. x
