Attachment Theory and the EYFS

Is anyone able to tell me if Attachment Theory influenced the writing of the Early Years Foundation Stage? If so in what way?

Off the top of my head the emphasis on the

• Settling in
• key person approach.
• Parental partnership

All contribute to the importance of attachment in the EYFS

I think Elinor Goldschmied's Key Person Approach greatly influenced the EYFS. Most advice does lead back to her.
