Reforming assessment and accountability for primary schools

So, no profiles for FS2 from September 2016, instead baselines at the start of reception from where progress through the rest of the primary curriculum will be measured. What is the general feeling about this? will we see a push to formalize reception? Will foundation stage lose its special approach ?
