Guest Posted February 10, 2014 Share Posted February 10, 2014 Hi everyone, I had a visit from my EYIO which lead to a big discussion on next steps. She said that some people to quite broad next steps that may last up to 6 weeks and others may change them each week accordingly. I was (previously) told to make my next steps really keyed in to concentrate on one small area for instance, Tommy likes jigsaws and his next step is to link two to three words togethor so I would plan to have the jigsaw out and have his key worker playing alongside him to model language, etc. What are others doing? I would really appreciate it if anyone can send me an example and how you record it all. Every time an EYIO comes along I go home with my head spinning!
