gillp Posted January 28, 2014 Share Posted January 28, 2014 Application Form Job Type Support Worker Qualification Level NVQ Level 2 Salary £6.31 to £6.50 per hour Employment Type Fixed Short Term Contract Working Hours 15 per week Working Pattern Monday,Wednesday, Friday afternoons 1.00pm to 4.00pm Tuesday and Thursday mornings 9.00am to 12 noon. We would be flexible on days/times if the right candidate had school drop off/ collections to do. Responsibilities: Job will primarily involve working on a 1:1 basis with a child on the Autistic Spectrum Disorder. To support children to engage in activities and progress within the EYFS.To work in partnership with the parents/carers, and the setting's Manager. To work in partnership with other early years professionals, if appropriate. Maintain confidential information regarding the children and their families. To assist in suggesting what resources would be beneficial to support the children's development. To attend team meetings and inhouse training, where appropriate. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum Level 2 in Early Years and Childcare (or equivalent) is essential. A knowledge of signing and the PEC system plus previous experience of working with autism or aspergers would be an advantage. Additional Information: An Enhanced DBS check will be undertaken.
