Guest
Hi everyone, I'm trying to think of a WOW starter for my Christmas topic starting next week. Also any story books which can be used for a weeks worth of activities for Reception? Thanks in advance Edited November 22, 2013 by Guest

Guest
I painted boot prints on my floor, left 'snow' around and a letter asking for help wrapping presents from Santa as his elves were all poorly.. We didn't have any paper so used christmas stamps to create own patterned paper. Wrote our own tags and then wrapped boxes (he magically puts the presents in) and filled sacks. Lots of skills and the children were all engaged.
Guest
Have you seen the hometown books? I've got Santa is coming to Birmingham. I got it from water stones last year and my children loved identifying all the places they recognised as Santa flies through. They'll probably do different cities? Or you could make your own?
