understanding the world materials

Happy Saturday everyone,

We haveplanned activities around materials and recycling. However, I have now hit a brick wall and can't think of an exciting way in. Has anyone got any ideas?????

create a wormery for the garden/compost heap, get a rubbish truck to visit, go to a tip, make paper (from old), upcycle items to make new ones,make a plastic bottle greenhouse!
