I had to share this because it made me sad and smile at the same time

Poll reveals children don't know where their food comes from

I accept that some children may not know which veg grows above the ground or below the ground but when they think a fish finger is made of chicken it has all gone a bot wrong somewhere along the line :(

I thought maybe they'd had chicken fingers and got confused ;) it doesn't say what percentage of children said fish fingers were made if chicken though, it might have been 1!

I'm also hoping this isnt the media backing up government dross that EY and schools are rubbish! Maybe this is where Truss will make new proposals. Every child must grow a cabbage, pluck a chicken and bake a bean!

Its annoying though. No child knows where something comes from until they are taught. there's nothing new there, ask any inner city three year old in the 1950's where milk comes from and they wouldn't know. It's a smoke screen to hide something bigger going on - or a survey for a 'jobsworth'!
