flowlow
Hi all I know this is an easy question but just want to make sure!!! when I started all that time ago in setting you could be employed and be a key person if you were working towards your level 2 (although some staff missed their 2 out and went straight to 3 and could do the same as well) is this still the case or do you now have to be qualified?? eyfs1966
there is as I understand it, no reason at all for a key person to be qualified at any level as per the stautory framework, alyho at our setting only qualifieds do the role, unqualifieds are just assistants. thumperrabbit
I thought besides the manager (who should be level 3) as long as at least half of the rest of your staff are qualified, then it doesn't matter about the other level of staff. It is upto to you to decide if she is 'capable' of being a key person.
