Madmum
Hi! As one of thier 2 PE sessions a week, our reception class do dance. ( alhtough to me it's more like the music and movement we did many moons ago!). I may be doing this as part of PPA in January and wonderd if anyone could recommend a programme wiht CD and plans? - I don't wnat to reinvent the wheel. The school used to use some very outdated cassettes so I want to be more up to date!!!
Guest
We use sticky kids CDs but they too are more movement to music than actual dance. . . . .

Guest LornaW
I love doing some simple country dancing with older reception. All that skipping and do-si-do -ing is excellent for co-ordination helps with writing and also good excersise!
Guest
The bbc schools radio 'Let's move' series is good as it links to other areas of the profile as well as dance.
