Guest Posted November 21, 2012 Posted November 21, 2012 Hello everyone, I'm having a lesson obs on maths I'm doing properties of shape where a puppet has gone camping but an evil yeti has mixed up his equipment he has left clues as to what he needs so the clues are 3 sided shape and they have to find the picture etc what child initiated activities could I have out that would reinforce this any help would be great thanks great people
SueFinanceManager Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 blocks/bricks for them to build their own shaped huts for toys/figures/compare bears to sleep in 2D shapes to draw around 3D shapes to fill with sand/rice/water so they can compare if a cube holds more than a cylinder Good luck
