We are just about to start writing a policy on Children with Life Limiting Conditions ie how to inform staff if a child passes away, how to remember them in school, outside agencies which could help staff, children and parents etc etc. We have lots of ideas and thoughts, but just wondered if anyone out there had a policy in place whcih we could look at please. Gezabel Posted September 14, 2012 Share Posted September 14, 2012 I haven't got a policy for children with life limiting conditions but we have had a bereavement policy for a while now. It includes the death of a child attending the setting (or a sibling/parent) and also if a member of staff dies.
