emz321 Posted July 11, 2012 Share Posted July 11, 2012 I have an interview next week for a EYFS teacher but they are asking me to teach an hours lesson for Y1 with a creative writing focus topic of my choice. Just wondering if anyone had any advice or ideas about what i can do! my mind is swimming at the moment, i haven't taught this age group since my teaching practice and only really know EYFS! i want to stay true to my ideas of play based teaching and learning. so i was thinking about re-telling/ acting out a story rather than reading it to start the lesson off, or wondered about starting a story off and ending at a door and using describing words to write sentences about what could be behind the door? or maybe a box with a label saying do not open and taking about where the box came from whats inside. any help would be greatly received Thanks in advance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
