Jubilee Celebrations

Just looking for ideas for the Jubilee Celebrations. We are planning to put out some items next week in the run up to the weekend so have some kings costumes and tiaras (looking for queens outfits but cannot source these so any help in this respect would appreciate!). We also have a lovely palace for small world play and in the home corner have some beautiful goblets and tableware to match. Any other ideas of resources we could be putting out?

 

 

We are planning to make some crowns with the children but would love some more ideas.

Have purchased Union Jack paper plates, cups and table cloths and am going to turn our snack break into a street party with Jubilee Cupcakes for a treat.

There are some lovely Queen and Soldier costumes in Home Bargins for £5 a set. The children in my nursery have loved dressing up in them this week.
