Jo jo Posted May 13, 2012 Share Posted May 13, 2012 HI all, I have a job interview on Thursday and I am required to plan a 20 min teaching activity with 10 mixed ability reception children. The focus is language and literacy and I was wondering if anyone could share any ideas you may have or things that you have done in the past that have worked well. I have a few ideas but I would appreciate any thoughts so I can develop my ideas further. Jo jo Posted May 13, 2012 Author Share Posted May 13, 2012 I'm thinking of using a story with props and then when we have read it, asking the children to sequence the story and re tell it. The LO being I can retell a familar story. Early thoughts as it is such a broad topic really want to focus on speaking and listeing as much as possible.
