I and my children are bored with our standard which is: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday too, One, two, three, four, five, six seven days, each day different and every day new. Guest Posted July 11, 2005 Share Posted July 11, 2005 What's the tune to that? We sing it to a version of Twinkle twinkle little star and I thought I'd made it up! I've never heard it before! We jazz it up by putting clapping rhythm to it - clap hands, clap knees (on the word "day"). Monday's here Monday's here Monday's here now is that clear? Do a puzzle wouldn't that be fun? Lots to do for everyone. Repeat with Tuesday, Wednesday etc. but with a different activity such as paint a picture, play some music. The children could think of different activities. We are introducing this in September for the start of the keyworker group for the older children and singing the verse for that particular day.
