Guest Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Hi all I have some possible opportunities coming up regarding some brand new classrooms. It's started me thinking about what would I like/need in an ideal world. Thought I would open it up to the forum and see what you think works really well in your schools and what you would really like if you could have anything. I've been thinking about resources, staffing, areas/zones within the classroom, indoor/outdoor, planning just to name a few! I would be really interested to hear your ideas. Thanks Becs

SLIMBRIDGE Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 I had a 'deconstructed role play area' before half term - provided a load of resources and let the children go with it. These included blankets, chairs and tables, string, pegs, dressing up clothes, role play food etc The children absolutely loved it and I was amazed at the play, language development and co-operation that resulted!
