Devondaisy
Does anyone have a good recipe for a biscuit dough which children could roll out and cut into different shapes please?
Panders
We use this recipe, which is really rather easy. 170 gms plain flour 100gms margarine 50 grams icing sugar. 1. preheat oven to 180c 2. beat margarine until soft 3. beat in sugar 4. add flour 5. mix well 6. puton a floured board and roll out 7. cut into shapes 8. bake for about 20 minutes- no longer 9. allow to cool 10.decorate! We used Tate& Lyle Royal Icing last time,it sets quickly and the children chose dolly mixtures to put on top. quantity should make about 10 average sized biscuits. Just keep an eye on the oven from about 12 minutes on, we have a "fast" oven and ours take nowhere near 20 minutes.
