I have recently started in a new role as a Reception Teacher. I love my new role, but am finding difficulty with a specific team member who I do not feel is pulling their weight in the classroom. Confidential papers and children's work are left lying around at the end of the day and daily work set is rarely completed and again left lying around for me to move. Tasks that other TAs complete in a matter on hours have been known to take a matter of weeks. I have had several words with this person, offered gentle reminders about expectations and support, but I feel this will be an ongoing matter. I wondered wheteher anyone had some advice? Do I need to set up an action plan or provide them with responsibilities for specific areas?


Has anyone had any experience like this?
