Guest
What format do your phonics sessions usually take? Are you following the Review, Teach, Practise, Apply format?
Guest
We do Jolly phonics so when we introduced 'ar' last year I wore a white coat and a stethoscope and badge Dr Ar and went around the children listening to their chest and telling them to say ar. Lots of laugter but they got it. We then with white boards wrote the presciption I can't remember it but something like a bar of soap, a cup of tar etc
