fimbo
can anyone shed some light on this ? i know there was talk about it -but as we didnt accept 2 yr olds i kinda filtered that info into the 'dont need to know' pile we were told last week we would be accepting 2 yr olds - so im assuming i will be having to do developmental checks too ?? is this alongside the 'development matters' ?? is this a national thing or just regional (gloucestershire) ?? catma
It is part of the Govts reforms - you won't need to do anything as such yet as it is still all waiting for the final details to be decided by Govt. Ultimately it will be in tandem with health checks. It comes from the Field review and the Tickell review also references it. The programme for 2 year olds getting the 15 hour entitlement is currently out for consultation. http://www.education.gov.uk/childrenandyou...childcare/early Cx
