HappyMaz
I used an old iPod in nursery because I could never find the CD I wanted and when I did it was usually scratched. I got a cheap iPod dock from Asda and it worked reasonably well - mine was a very old iPod whose battery was a bit unreliable although if you're buying a new one for nursery you won't have that problem. The difficulty with the cheapie iPod dock was that the speakers weren't fantastic, and it didn't offer the charging feature so it would only work when the iPod was fully charged. Had I been continuing with the nursery I would definitely have purchased a new iPod and dock/speaker system - it is so much easier to load up and download all the music you need!
