Guest
Hi all, Do any of you have a terms and conditions notice for free funding that they could share. For instance how long do you give the child if absent before sending out letter. How long notice do you ask parents to give if they want to take their child out of preschool if moving etc. Thankyou Dorinda
redjayne
Our T and C's for funding state two weeks of non-attendance and the place is gone - and we can still keep the funding for those two weeks. As for children leaving, if the parents give notice for the funded places thats a bonus, but often no notice is given, the funding stops when the child leaves whatever as and residual amount is passed back to Early Years to pass on to the next setting.Hope that helps ? Guest
Does your local authority have any terms and conditions which you should consider first? Thank you I will ask them. We do have a fees policy though. can I use that. Dorinda
Panders
In my opinion you could use your Fees Policy, mine is called Fees & Funding Policy, so I have a section where I describe in it what the terms and conditions are regarding my county's take on how funding is either given or taken away, I don't add any extra clauses of my own to that. You should find out what your county's terms are though because they do vary around the country.
