purplepeanut Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 I am interested to know if anyone uses an 'all about me' booklet for the babies/one year olds in their care. We have quite a comprehensive booklet for our 2-5 year olds but have recently started taking children in the younger age group. Are there any specific questions we need to be asking? This probably comes across as a silly question but I usually work with the older children and have limited experience with 0-1 year olds. Thanks for any help you can offer as I am a bit confused
garrison Posted September 18, 2011 Posted September 18, 2011 We have a baby book where an overall 'all about me' section is in the front. Then repeated throughout the book is a page where parents can write anything relevant that has occured the previous evening or before coming to nursery eg been awake through the night due to teething. On the other side of this is the 'what I did today' page where we write in nappy changes, sleep times, food eaten, what was played with etc
llillymay Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Hi, has anyone a copy of the All about me Booklet? for babies please? the one i have in place is too old for this age. Thanks for any help on this subject.
HappyMaz Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Welcome to the Forum, lillymay. Could you not just adapt the one you have?
llillymay Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Hi HappyMaz The one we are currently using was given by our TA a while ago and ofsted are not happy at this being used for young babies. I just wondered if anyone could give me some hints or maybe have a copy i could use? many thanks
