Guest Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Hi, I wonder if anyone can help.... I was under the illusion that there needs to be a named deputy at every preschool setting. However, I cant lay my hands on anything that actually specifies this. The question has arisen as a friend has lost her deputy and doesn't want to have a named deputy as such!? Could anyone clarify this for me please? Thanks. Quote
waterplay Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Hello According to page 32 of statuatory framework [may 2008]under staffing arrangements and specific legal requirements it states 'In registered group settings there must be a named deputy who is able to take charge in the absence of the manager'. hope that helps Quote
