Guest
Hello We are trying to develop our outdoor area at school. Does anyone have any information about freebies!!! Thinking of things like logs, plants, or anything. Money is tight!!! I am in East London. Thanks all.
Guest
Hi try contacting tree surgeons re logs etc. We have a tree surgeon parent who is happy to supply us with those for free. Also check out your nearest scrap store-I came away recently with clear plastic tubes which my children love sending balls and water down for around a fiver. We also have tyres stacked up and planted (with tumbling tomatoes at the moment) and these were begged from a local garage for free. Deb
Devondaisy
We got some lovely fruit trees and gardening tools with our Morrison's Let's Grow vouchers. Our local garden centre have also been really generous with donations. I would always ask parents for donations of plants too.
