Anyone In Portsmouth? Just A Quick Question!

If anyone works in Portsmouth can you tell me what happens with funding if a child leaves your setting part way through the term? In my LA the funding follows the child at any time in the term but I know it's not always the same.

I'm in Portsmouth and we have been told that we have to send it back to Early Years and the new setting the child is going to has to request it from Early Years - you will probably do best speaking to Shelley or Anthony. It always used to be that we did an informal invoice and exchange between settings but that has stopped now.

Thanks for that. I'm in another LA but have child movin to us mid term from Portsmouth which is why the query has come up.

You will need to contact the Early Years Team at the PCC Civic Offices, Guildhall Walk, Portsmouth, if you address it to Anthony Harper am sure he will pass it on to the relevant people if he can't deal with it himself.
