chicken Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Hello all, did I imagine reading somewhere in the EYFS that you need to allocate a 'buddy' to a child if their key person is for example always off on the same day. I have looked and I cannot see it, any ideas would be greatly appreciated Chicken
Guest Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Hi, at our setting the leader is the buddy (spare) key person who acts as a back up if key person is away, and helps out with any children who need extra support.
mundia Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Hi chicken, this is mentioned in the PiP card for key person.
chicken Posted January 24, 2011 Author Posted January 24, 2011 Thank you I knew I had read it somewhere
