Goldilocks And Continuous Provision Planning

Morning all xD

Our topic in nursery is 'Stories and Rhymes', and we're currently reading 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. I'm in the process of planning for this week's continuous provision areas, and I'm wondering if anyone has any fantastic ideas for our investigation area... Last week we put out three bowls of uncooked pasta, rice and oats for the children to mix and explore. I think they're ready for a change this week, but my mind is blank :o

Thank you in advance! :(

just off the top of my head how about the three beds with lots of different blankets made out of different textures, soft, rough materials etc?

Sure someone will come up with something else more practical soon x

Thanks for your advice :o I'm going to adapt your idea and put out some materials with different textures (minus the beds - unless I can get my hands on some dolls' house furniture at school). It'll link nicely to the story where Goldilocks says the beds are too hard/soft.
