Guest
Hello again! I am putting together a training meeting for staff later this month. One focus is on enabling environments and i would like to emphasis the importance in allowing children a suitable environemt to explore and in particular how important the environment is in scaffoldiong schemas. I am trying to think of an activity for the staff to do which supports this. Any ideas?? x
HappyMaz
There's a Featherstone book called 'Again! Again!' which provides really good ideas for how to support children's schema. Here's the link, where you can use the 'Look Inside' facility to read some of the pages. I think MarkLim81 might have uploaded a booklet/leaflet he made about schemas as part of his EYP training. It might be worth looking in the resources area, if you haven't already!
