Hi There

 

I know it's a little late for this years Diwali but thought I'd share the rangoli activity I did today with my children as it worked really well, you may also be able to adapt this activity too as I did.

 

(Apologies in advance if it's on here already :o )

 

I used table salt & chalk, the children rub the chalk over the salt to change the colour.

 

I made a large rangoli template, we put glue on the template & added the chalk. Once the children had finished the children decided that we should remove the excess slat by shaking the paper outside, the kids absolutely loved mark making in the salt outside. Fab.
