Castle Role Play - Banquet Food

I've just set up a castle role play and would appreciate any ideas anyone has particularly for outside. I also want to hjave a banquet so any food ideas pleas.

castles have moats - cardboard box boats to cross the moats. had great fun making box boats in our play ground the other day. we had pretend races, kids kept getting out and moving the boxes forward then getting in again.

how about horses for jousting(!!!!!).....made from broom handle (or similar) and stuffed old sock for the head!
