Longer Term Cll Planning?

Does anyone do long term CLL planning?

I think it is a hard thing to get my head around if we use formative assessment for our planning - I cant think about what they should be learning for CLL in the summer term etc. Am I going about it all wrong?

I don't do a long term plan, for my the EYFS is my long term plan. Like you said, we need to plan based on our observations so you can't really plan ahead like that. At the end of each half term I select some key objectives I want to cover based on their next steps but planning is done day to day really. Hope that helps.
