Guest
Hi, Our school is taking on the rights and responsibilities of a child starting in September. Each class has to create a class charter: (class rules) using the language of rights and responsibilities. We also have to choose on of the 40+ rights and create a display. For Reception I have chosen the right of: Every child has the right to a name and a nationality. As i thought this would be a nice way to enhance name writing practice at the beginning of the year. Does anyone have any other ideas of how I can introduce rights and responsibilities of the child to reception children. In our transition days we have already discussed some rights such as: We have the right to play with toys, we have the responsibility to tidy up, look after our toys and share with others. I am just wondering what activities I could use to reinforce this learning to children? Thank-you in advance!
