mollypiper
We have a daily ticklist which prob different as packaway setting but includes things like fire extinguisher in place? first aid kit & stocked? keys in place? kitchen counter closed?door to storage area secure? We then sign on the attendance register when it's done. However in your overall risk assess folder there must be a more in depth risk assessmant for each thing on tick list saying what would happen if not done eg if the kitchen door wasn't closed a child could access the kitchen & there are chemicals in cupboard, oven could be on etc. Hope that makes sense. Susan
You ought to be able to make something very generic, ie mop and bucket available near water tray, dustpan and brush near sand tray. Risk slipping on wet, sandy floor etc.
Guest
This is ours for what it's worth! It originated from FSF so a big thank you to whoever posted it originally some 5 years ago!! As someone mentioned above you should have corresponding risk assessments in place for the main items as these two documents aren't suffice on their own. daily_risk_assessment_checklist.doc blank_daily_safety_audit_sheet_update.doc
