waveawand Posted June 15, 2010 Posted June 15, 2010 (edited) Poem added 6-15-99 Original Author unknown It's time to say good bye now and so before you go we'd like to tell you something that we think you'd like to know We're going to start our school days For twelve more years and then When we graduate the next time Won't you please come back again! just found this on www.preschooleducation.com/sgraduation. Not sure what you'd sing it too - did have some others and I seem to recall my kids nursery using "sandy Girl sandy Boy "...... hope this helps Edited June 15, 2010 by waveawand
Guest Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Hi In the past I've used a song called 'one more step along the road', can't remember all the words, but if you google it, or search further on here, I'm sure it will come up. IT starts something like this... One more step along the road I go, one more step along the road I go and its from the old I travel to the new Keep me travelling along with you Chorus: and its from the old I travel to the new Keep me travelling along with you - has more verses I can't recall though - it's really quite touching
SmileyPR Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 A nice one to sing to their younger classmates is "So Long, Farewell", from "The Sound of Music".
