Guest
Hi everyone, It's my class assembly next week and we're doing a Toy Alphabet and showing our puppets we've made. Any ideas for a song about toys / puppets as I'm stuck!! Thanks.

Susan
Hi Braddy and welcome! My immediate thought was could you adapt 10 green bottles in some way to suit? Good luck.

Jackie A.
I often make up my own songs to fit in with a particular theme. I always set them to familiar tunes. I've just spent 5 minutes trying to make one up about puppets. Excuse the attempts to fit in the rhyme, I'm not sure it "flows" properly anyway! Here's my mad attempt: (to the tune of "Jelly on a Plate") Puppet on a string Puppet on a string Pull my leg, nod my head Make my elbows swing Puppets made of socks Puppets made of socks Hand inside to make my mouth Listen to me talk. Finger puppets now Finger puppets now Watching us dancing on your hand And then we take a bow. Puppets can be fun Puppets can be fun Use us now to tell a story Listen everyone.
