cleverclowns Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 One of our children who suffers from recurrent ear infections and is awaiting referral to ENT has contracted Hand, Foot and Mouth. Does anyone have a standard letter that you send to parents as we have never had this arise before? Any help appreciated x Quote
cleverclowns Posted May 27, 2010 Author Posted May 27, 2010 In my search for up to date information, my first port of call was the Health Protection Agency. I have uploaded some information for all to access should there be a case at your nursery. Found the research quite enjoyable and gave me an insight into common childhood rashes. cleverclowns Posted May 27, 2010 Author Posted May 27, 2010 I also found this, which I will now display on the parent/carer noticeboard. Infection_Control.pdf Quote
Guest Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 I also found this, which I will now display on the parent/carer noticeboard. Thanks for this - I was signposted to this new poster recently by HPU, does anyone know if we can order a hard copy - I only have a basic printer. Quote
eyfs1966 Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 (edited) Yes, you can get a copy of the large poster from your local HPU. Alternatively, you can print a printer friendly version onto A4 paper by copying and pasting the following: http://www.hpa.org.uk/web/HPAwebFile/HPAweb_C/1274087715902 I use this version as easier to display as an A4 booklet rather than as a massive poster.
