Guest Posted May 14, 2010 Share Posted May 14, 2010 I heard from someone on a conference day and he said put a tarpualin down with a bag of sand on it leave it for a few weeks if it gets soiled then you have a problem to think about if it doesnt then the animals wont generally use the sand pit. He said in his area they have done some research and the sand pit does not get anymore soiled than the soil and our children dig in that!
