Guest
I am in the process of updating our risk assessments and was wondering what things / areas you all risk assess. I have found a list in the EYFS practice guidance, but am wondering if it is really necessary to have written risk assessments for all those things, e.g. 'the use of socket covers in electrical sockets'. Thanks
Guest jenpercy
Yes although I have seen a campaign to explain how dangerous socket covers are. Risk assess everythnig. You can't include too many things, although you may find that the BIG O think you have missed something
Rea
Dont miss the socket covers. I know a nursey who were berrated for having one missing! You could add something that you are aware of the campaign and will risk assess the use of covers too.
