Guest
Hi I am a 19 year old student, done 2 years of sixth form, passed but not enough grades to get into uni. Currently on my first year of CACHE ACD in Childcare and Education Level 3. My aim is to become a primary teacher. When I finish college, i hope to become employed as a teachers assistant and train to be a HLTA, then go into RTP. However the qualifications needed is really confusing I was just wondering if I would need to do a foundation degree before or something? Or if there was any other way I could do it, I've kinda gone off the idea of full time uni.. Thankyou
JacquieL
If you haven't done so already I think you need to look through this site which is very helpful with all the options available http://www.tda.gov.uk/Recruit/becomingatea.../yourroute.aspx Remember to qualify to do RTP you must be in a school which will employ you as an unqualified teacher. I hope it all goes well for you.
