Admissions Policy Transition Policy

Hi all

 

I have been asked to write an admissions policy and a transitions policy for our school. I teach in the reception class. I have never written a policy before and was wondering if anyone had one they would be willing to share so i have an idea of what im meant to do!!!

Hi Lola.

It might be helpful to gain clarification from your SLT whether you are writing an EYFS section to a school policy or writing the whole school policy. SO an admissions policy would apply across the whole school and transitions could be in to R; R to year one; year 2to year 3 and year 6 to secondary.

Thanks for your help guys - Mundia i have checked with SLT and i am just writing it specific to early years. And mikee thanks those documents have been really useful in giving me ideas. I have the day out today to write them so thanks agin for your help
