Hi there,

Does anyone out there know the words to "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Stable door is found ajar?", a nativity version of the nursery rhyme?

I heard it done at a previous setting and thought it was lovely but can't remember what came next.!!! Many thanks

I found this version! :o

Twinkle, twinkle, Christmas star,

Over Bethlehem you are.

Up above the stable high,

You’re the brightest in the sky.

Twinkle, twinkle, Christmas star,

Now I know just what you are!

We sing Twinkle twinkle Christmas Star and the rest of the verse the same.

We then add a second verse

Then the traveller in the dark

Thanks you for your tiny spark

Would he know which way to go

If you did not twinkle so.

The one I know is:

Twinkle, twinkle little star

High up in the sky so far

See the baby born tonight

Mother Mary holds him tight

Twinkle twinkle little star

High up in the sky so far

Twinkle twinkle holy star,

shining brightly from afar,

up above the cattle stall,

bringing good news to us all.

Twinkle twinkle holy star,

shine for ever where we are
