Our booktime books of Mr Big have just arrived - haven't sat down properly with it yet - just wondered if any of you had any genius plans afoot linked to this story? Anything I come up with I'll let you know!

I really don't like the book at all so I plan to do nothing with it!

We have read it and handed bookbags out and that is it. Totally uninspired by it.

Our headteachers daughter likes the book and he said it has a really good PSE link in accepting people whatever they look like as no one wanted to be MR Big's friend as he was too big. There's a letter towards the end so I was wondering about doing something linked to that but not sure. Had such a fantastic topic based around the Harry and the dinosaurs book last year nothing quite seems to measure up!

Glad I am not the only one to so far be unispired by the book. will keep thinking, seems a shame to waste the big book. (the little ones we give out as xmas presents)

I agree it is a good book for PSE my class loved the story and it really inspired some thoughtful responses.

Last year there were alot more resources on the booktime website - but not had a chance to look this year - might be worth a look

I'm sure we didn't get a big book. Got the book bags with copy of Mr. Big and a book of rhymes in each. Am I missing something?

Our nursery and reception have loved reading Mrs Big. He has visited the children and inspired the children to write him letters, dress up as Mr Big and create their own band just like in the story. All they talk about is Mr Big.
